o Kiwanis Sprayground at Highlander Park The 3,000-square-foot Kiwanis Sprayground has a non-slip surface, no standing water and is ADA accessible. The fully automatic system offers a fun way to beat the heat as recirculating water sprays, gushs, dumps and pours from a variety of whimsical devices. Kids can dodge a crocodile that shoots water out of its mouth, circle the tumble buckets and dance in and out of the mushroom water shower. The main attraction is “Nessie,” Dunedin’s own version of the Loch Ness Monster, with multiple sprays and an aqua run slide. Parental supervision is required.

o Sprayground at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park While not true spraygrounds, there are two interactive fountains in the new Curtis Hixon park: the Louver Fountain on the east side of the park along Ashley Drive and the Mist Fountain on the west side the park along the Riverwalk. The park's playground features an interactive NEOS 360 Ring, which combines video games with aerobic exercise and is the first of its kind in the southeast United States. The eight-acre Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park sits on the banks of the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa.

o Splash Pad sprayground at Dell Holmes Park Located on the north shore of Lake Maggiore, Dell Holmes Park is the home of St. Petersburg's first zero-depth water playground. Water fountains from the ground, shoots from dolphins and frogs and pours from colorful arches as kids scamper on the non-skid surface. The sprayground is part of the playground area and operates during the summer months. An in-ground tank holds 3,000 gallons of recirculated, chlorinated water. The playground can accommodate 70 people. SplashPad's hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily through October. Other features in the 21-acre park include an accessible and lighted fitness trail, fishing pier, gazebo, ... and so much more!

o Kate Jackson Community Center at Anderson Park Kate Jackson Community Center is located in Anderson Park in the historic Hyde Park neighborhood of Tampa, just west of Old Hyde Park Village shopping center. Kate Jackson offers an After School Activity Program for children 5 to 17. Anderson Park contains playground equipment, picnic benches and shade trees. Kids love running through the fountain, which shoots up water from the ground, and is a zero-depth sprayground.

o Morningside Pool Morningside Pool, at Morningside Park in Clearwater, has one of the top children's water playgrounds and a great pool for teens and adults. The main pool has two lanes open to lap swim with two diving boards and one giant blue slide to appease adventure-seekers. Then, in the back, there is a fenced-off area that contains an activity training pool with water at no more than 3 feet deep and a play area with an animal theme. Kids can ride a whale and turtle, slide down a frog's tongue and be sprayed by a large mushroom.

o WaterPlay sprayground at Zephyr Park WaterPlay offers kids a fun and safe way to cool off under fountain jets and falling buckets of water. Located in Zephyr Park at Fourth Street and Fourth Avenue, the 7,000-square-foot sprayground features arches shooting water and soaker cannons. Benches surround the sprayground so parents can watch the action. Children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult. City parks are open from 9 a.m. to dusk. The 34-acre Zephyr Park is located in downtown Zephyrhills and is the site of the Alice Hall Community Center. Park amenities include: five lighted tennis courts, handball courts, fishing, picnic pavilions with tables.

o North Shore Pool North Shore Aquatic Center features a 50-meter pool with low diving board and a 12-foot-deep end, and a 25-yard training pool with zero depth entry. The kid-friendly facility's play feature pool includes flume slides and a large zero-depth entrance splash area. Water sprays from tall fountains and a fun-looking four-bucket splash device that looks like a boat mast fills up and dumps water on anyone below. Locker rooms, coin-operated lockers and hot showers are available. The pool can also accomodate parties and private events. The center offers a variety of swimming classes and exercise activities. Heated pool.

o Sprayground at Cypress Forest Park Cypress Forest Park sprayground is a great place for cool summertime fun with 1,500 square feet of play area with bursting, shooting and cascading water. The rubberized nonskid surface is filled with brightly colored, fanciful fountains and misters, and lots of burbling "springs" that toddlers seem to love sitting on. Two large picnic pavilions provide plenty of shady seating for snacks and down time for adults. The park is open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The water is turned on at 11 a.m. The 10-acre park in northern Pinellas County is adjacent to a wildlife and environmental preserve.

o Sprayground at Highland Family Aquatic Center The Highland Family Aquatic Center is a family friendly mini-waterpark for all ages. In addition to a pool, amenities include a 214-foot corkscrew water slide, a three-story speed slide, a zero-depth sprayground with play structure and water sprays, and a double slide suitable for all ages. Water basketball and volleyball are available and the center offers swimming and exercise classes. The Highland aquatic center can be rented for private parties and birthdays. Food is available at Splashes Snack Bar (food and drinks are not allowed in except during parties with rental contracts). There are umbrellas and shade structures.

o Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park One of the best parks in downtown Tampa because of its location and amenities, Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park lies between the St. Pete Times Forum and the Hillsborough River. It includes a memorial to those lost in the Seminole Wars of Florida. Cotanchobee Park offers a pier, canoe launch and trails, and is popular with joggers and rollerbladers. The children's playground features a splash pad, while parents sit back and enjoy the waterfront view. This 5-acre park along Garrison Channel is the site for major events, such as the dragon boat races and the duck race, as well as weddings.

o Childs Park Pool
Amenities at the Childs Park pool include a deck for sunbathing, picnic area, parent drop-off, 12' deep area with low diving board and giant flume slide. For younger children and those just learning to swim, there is a training pool, water playground features and splash pad. The pool is handicapped accessible and available for private parties. Swim lessons and exercise classes are offered (for a fee).

o North Greenwood Recreation Complex Pool The North Greenwood pool is 25-meters with a 1-meter diving board. A plunge pool features a twisting, 140-foot long, two-story water slide. For young children, the activity pool comes with water playground and shade structure. Kids can enjoy a water slide, palm trees with coconuts that tip out water, spray jets and bubbling floor jets. A patio area offers oversized shade umbrellas with tables and chairs.
The pool is open Saturday only from May 29 to June 12 (1 p.m. to 5 p.m.). Beginning June 14, it is open Monday to Saturday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

o Ross Norton Recreation and Aquatic Complex Ross Norton Aquatic Complex features three different pools for the entire family to enjoy. Included in the three is an activity pool and water playground ideal for smaller children. It features water cannons, kiddie slides, waterfalls, and a baby bungee. Recreation card and annual Play Pass holders receive a discount on admission, swimming and diving classes, and other programs. Recreation cards are available for Clearwater residents and non-residents. Please contact the complex for more information.
The complex also offers fishing, picnic areas, playgrounds, baseball fields, basketball courts, horseshoe courts, shuffle courts, tennis courts, exercise courts, and walking trails.
Hours are Monday-Friday from 12:00 PM to 7 PM and Saturday-Sunday from 12:00 PM to 5 PM.

o Giddens Park This Southeast Seminole Heights neighborhood park provides lots of opportunities for fun for the whole family. There is a fully-equipped playground, with splash pad and interactive fountain to cool off in hot summer months, sports courts and plenty of open space for games and a dog park for your best friend. The park is also popular with runners and rollerbladers. After all that exercise, enjoy a picnic in the covered shelter area. The park has been undergoing some sprucing up as park of the city's beautification program.
